Use QuickTime to open up any movie in your PC. Then, from the player's file menu, select 'Export.' A window will appear with several drop-down lists. The Movie URL field should already be populated using the directory route to the movie you loaded. If the movie is stored on your C drive, the URL will start with file://localhost/C:/. That's your playlist's first item. To add the second item, you should add the route to the second movie file for the 'QT Next URL' text field. If the 2nd movie is located inside the same folder, it will be easier to copy and paste the text in the 'Movie URL' field (using the exception in the original movie's filename) and simply enter the second movie's filename and extension.
Once you have done this, Make sure the autoplay checkbox is checked after which click OK to return towards the Save window. To make a playlist QuickTime will use, its filename must utilize the .QTL extension. After you've named the file, click save. Now you can open the file watching the two movies in your list; just don't expect a flowing continuity from your first file to the 2nd.
For the free version, You'll need to produce the QTL file manually which has a text editor including notepad. Copy the next text into notepad:

This example assumes both movies are placed at the root of the C: drive. Make the necessary adjustments keeping at heart that the other movie on the list appears above the first. Then, in notepad, go towards the file menu, select save as, name your file like the .qtl extension, and make sure to select 'All Files (*.*)' through the 'Save as Type' dropdown menu. The resulting file should appear with all the QuickTime icon instead of the Notepad icon.
